and murder. When the evidence becomes overwhelming,
When author Rich Newman first arrives at the battered doublewide trailer deep in the Mississippi Delta,
it’s clear that this is no ordinary haunting. Called from Memphis to assist a local ghost hunting team,
long-buried memories from Newman’s own past come back to haunt him—memories he’d rather forget. Collecting physical evidence,
researching the violent history of the property,
Newman’s investigation of the Martin house has become his most terrifying and mysterious case. What starts out as a malicious assault manifesting as deep rumbling sounds quickly spirals into a story of obsession,
and sorting through the spiritual implications of demons
softened
• ½ cup butter, softened
• ¼ cup sifted powdered sugar
• 1 tablespoon milk (if needed, for smooth
consistency)
• ⅓ cup finely chopped dried figs
• ⅓ cup toasted hazelnuts (filberts), chopped
• ¾ cup shredded coconut, sweetened is best
Mash together the cream cheese, butter, powdered
sugar and milk (if needed) to make a thick, frosting-
like consistency. Beat with electric hand mixer on me-
dium speed, about 1 minute or until combined and a
bit fluffy like meringue. Stir in figs and hazelnuts. Chill the mixture for 30 minutes to an hour or until it’s firm
and easy to handle (it’s like making chocolate truffles).
Using your hands, an ice cream scoop or (most likely), a
melon baller, depending on the size you want, shape mix-
ture into balls. Roll balls in coconut. Once all the balls are made, charge them with your desire for fertility as in the above recipe. Serve immediately or cover in plastic wrap
and store in the refrigerator until serving time.

Magic Snack
For a healthy snack that also improves fertility, combine
sunflower seeds, chopped hazelnuts, raisins, and chopped
dates with some sweetened coconut flakes to create a kind
of magical trail mix. Charge the mix with your magical
goal and eat as desired.
Bath Salts
Bath salts are an excellent means of relieving sore muscles and a way to absorb magical energy that has been placed
into the salts. Soaking in a tub of warm water softens the skin and the bath salts help to make it more receptive to
cleansing and absorption. The following recipes are com-
bined to make a bath salt to relieve stiff muscles and aches and pains.
Peppermint Oil
• 3 tablespoons peppermint (fresh or dried)
• ½ cup vegetable oil (soybean)
• Optional: 3 drops of peppermint extract
(added after the oil is complete)
In a small pot, swirl the peppermint into the oil and
over very low heat, warm the mixture until you can smell
the herb in the air. At this point, remove from heat and
allow to cool. When cooled, strain and bottle the oil and
if desired, add the peppermint extract.

love, lust and
Beauty Magic
When heading to the market to buy groceries, we’re
not usually thinking about love magic … I know
that magic and broccoli have never mixed well in my
mind! There are however, tons of options at the store for
casting a spell of love. We must however, be very cautious when using magic to find love. In regards to our personal
magic,
