so silky when it was between his fingers, how comforting it was when she laid her head on his chest, her hands resting on his buff biceps and feeling their strength, the slight curves of her hips, and the contour of her beautiful face.
John had a million thoughts running through his mind. I want this woman. I want to make love to her, celebrating the exquisiteness of her body and fully reveling in every single sweet nuance of the fine lady that she is. I want to bring her tantalizing pleasure by truly loving every inch of her. I want to hear her cry out my name in ecstasy as I pour my love into her and release her body from the intense state of euphoria that it is immersed in.
However, the only thought that really mattered to John right then was that he was in love with this woman and he wanted her truest and most compelling love before he ravished her stunning body.
John stopped kissing her. Pulling her close and hugging her, he said, “Baby Doll, are you getting tired?”
“Are you kidding? I don’t think that I will ever be tired again! I feel absolutely exhilarated. In fact, I have since the very first day we met.”
John smiled and kissed her on the cheek. “You are one splendid lady.”
“I don’t think I’ve ever been called ‘splendid’ before,” Randa said as she laughed.
“But you are. You are gorgeous and dazzling and majestic and elegant.”
“Thank you very much John, but I think it’s just a glow that being crazy about you has given me. Our time together has been like a fairytale come true. You’ve been the ‘Prince Charming’ that every girl dreams of!”
“This is just me…as real as I can get. There is nothing fake or fictitious about me. I will never lie to you and I will always be true to you. I always stand behind my word, not only in business, but in my personal life as well.”
“I couldn’t ask for more and I appreciate all that you are,” Randa replied.
“I would like to know how we’ve never met before, since Taylor is Fox’s goddaughter.”
“That is a good question. I’m guessing that it’s because Fox would come to Taylor’s house, but she never went out to the ranch. I met Fox the first year that Taylor and I were best friends. He would mention you and your parents occasionally, but not so much that he was revealing a great deal about you. Taylor and I always just regarded you as a good ol’ country boy, but my oh my, who knew that you were one smokin’ hot, yet oh so cool, good-looking and irresistible man?” Randa asked flirtatiously.
“I don’t know about all that,” John remarked.
    “I do!”
“Thank you Darlin’. Yeah, they could have at least fixed us up on a blind date.”
Randa laughed, “Taylor knows better. She fixed me up once and it was a total disaster, so I said, ‘never again.’”
“I’ve never had much luck with blind dates either.”
“I’m just thankful that I was with Taylor when she finally met you, otherwise you might have fallen for her.”
John burst out laughing so hard that he couldn’t even speak.
Randa just sat there, not sure what was so funny. Finally, she asked, “Why are you laughing so hard?”
John said, “That is the most ridiculous thing that I have ever heard,” between laughs.
“No, it’s not. Taylor is a world-famous singer and she’s absolutely beautiful.”
“Oh Randa, I’m sorry for all my laughter. I just couldn’t help myself. Yes, Taylor is beautiful, there’s no doubt about that and she is famous, which actually just sounds like one big headache in my opinion, though I’m sure it has its many ‘perks.’”
“Agreed,” Randa said with a smile on her face.
John took her small, soft hand in his, “Listen Baby Doll, you’ve got to understand. I wasn’t looking to meet anyone at that party. I had pretty much given up on that part of my life. When I came down off the Slope this last time, I just wanted to relax and visit with some friends, which is what I was doing. Then lo
